10 Tips for a Healthy Workplace

  1. Take breaks from sitting every 45-60 minutes
  2. Keep center of computer screen at eye level and directly in front of you
  3. Keep hips, elbows, knees at 90 degree angle
  4. Keep lumbar curve active and/or supported
  5. Take time to stretch
  6. Use headset when on phone
  7. Work efficiently to minimize time in chair
  8. Bring healthy, portioned snacks
  9. Drink lots of water (1/2 of body weight in ounces per day)
  10. Be creative with your work environment by taking work outside of the cubicle
